Accessibility Statement

Last updated 1 June 2026

VigilPath UK Limited is committed to making the VigilPath platform accessible to everyone, including investigators who rely on assistive technology.

1. Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The platform is currently partially conformant while areas of the application are still under active development.

2. What we have done

  • Semantic HTML landmarks and a single H1 per page.
  • Keyboard navigation across every interactive element.
  • Visible focus rings that meet 3:1 contrast.
  • Form fields with associated labels, descriptions and error messages.
  • Colour palette tested for 4.5:1 contrast on text.
  • Screen-reader-friendly status badges and live regions for case updates.

3. Known limitations

  • Some data-dense graph visualisations are not yet fully screen-reader navigable; tabular equivalents are provided.
  • Drag-and-drop in evidence triage requires keyboard alternatives, which are in progress.

4. Reporting a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility issue, please email accessibility@vigilpath.co.uk. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to remediate or provide an equivalent workaround.

5. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) in the UK.
